Why Am I Not Getting Pregnant? Part 1
In the United State there are around six million couples (around 10 percent of couples) who will experience infertility according to the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. A couple is termed infertile after twelve (consecutive) months of trying to conceive without success. This being the case there are millions world-wide that are (wrongly) labelled ‘infertile’ and prescribed with drugs, drugs and more drugs for them to get pregnant, when they were fertile all along. They were simply never taught how to know their own body cycles and thus get pregnant easily and naturally themselves. This happens time and time again the world over and causes women to keep asking ‘why am I not getting pregnant?‘
Couples should make sure that they are not confusing the medically labelled ‘infertility’ with sterility. One is an absolute inability to become pregnant (sterility) the other is simply a diminished ability to become pregnant after one year of trying. Couples who are infertile are often prescribed varieties of medications, medical procedures and even surgery, all of which can be expensive, not to mention painful emotionally draining and in many cases ineffectual. Wait, what was that? Back up a minute. I don’t see anything written there about ‘natural alternatives’ to aid in a very successful conception, without all the pain, emotional drain, physical complications or cost!? Always remember that there is an alternative to surgery and drugs if needed.
